Conditions we cannot help with:
We are providing a mainly online service and therefore are unable to offer hands on treatment to majority of our clients. This means that we are unable to help those who are acutely unwell, as they would better benefit from the attention of nearby, hands on treatment centres. This does not mean we are unable to offer help in the future when the situation becomes less acute.
We have some local treatment centres available where you can have face to face contact.
Email us to find out if there is one near you.
In your best interests, the conditions listed below are best treated in direct contact with hands-on face to face health institutions:
Acute psychosis
Moderate to severe depression
Relapse of Bipolar affective disorder
Schizophrenia (acutely unwell, especially in relapsed phase)
Suicidal ideation
Homicidal ideation
Acute medical conditions with on-going psychological symptoms
Childhood and adolescent problems
Eating disorders, especially in the acute or medically compromised state
For any of the above conditions we do not treat, we advise you to contact your GP, family doctor, Psychiatric team or nearest A&E Department immediately. If we notice any of our online Clients becoming acutely unwell, developing suicidal or homicidal tendencies, or developing other worrying symptoms, we will advise you to contact your nearest health/mental health clinic. Where possible, we may do this ourselves. All treatments provided will be Psychological, but wherever medication may be helpful we will advice your family doctor or GP.
We will be obtaining every Clients' permission to continually feed back to their family doctor. This is for information, follow up and possible medication prescription. This service will not accept Clients that do not give us a contact GP / Family doctor, or allow us to continually feed back to them. Your confidentiality is however intact and we will only disclose necessary information.
