Playing Beethoven's most overplayed piece (For Elise) was my drive. When I was little, my great uncle had a few clocks and one had 'For Elise' as the melody that you would hear on every hour. Subconsciously, the melody became my great uncle's legacy to me after he passed away.

Brandon’s first experience creating instrumental music was in Valencia. However, it was after moving to the UK from Spain (and, prior to that, from Equatorial Guinea) that Brandon began to really develop his piano skills, and fall in love with the instrument. Though he spoke Spanish, French and Hausa, Brandon arrived in England unable to speak the language.

Because of this, he threw himself into his piano practice. With the help of his parents, he found a Mexican teacher who he could connect with through the Spanish language, and she helped take his skill to another level. Within a year Brandon was performing at music events, and soon he had passed his Grade 8 exam, competed in talent shows and began teaching others piano too!
