Meet Your Tour Guide!
Gabo Candal
Since reading Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne at the age of six, Gabo wanted to follow in his hero, Phileas Fogg’s, footsteps. His first taste of travel was at 17 when he hitchhiked to Patagonia and was overwhelmed by the nature and landscapes of his homeland— Argentina.
Gabo is a theatre actor, rock ’n’ roll band manager, master of reiki, and even a chartered public accountant! In 2011, he spent a year working in New Zealand before taking in 94 countries in a two-year epic adventure around the world. Since 2014 he has worked as a tour guide, and hasn't looked back.
Gabo’s biggest accomplishment is having a burger named after him in New Zealand! And, because of his passion for travel and putting a smile on the faces of all those who roam with him, the Wanderlust Magazine in London granted him the award of being one of the top 10 best tour guides in the world in 2018.
