Father’s Day & Sickle Cell Awareness

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible Father’s out there!

World Sickle Cell Awareness Day began in 2008 to raise awareness for the disease, which is an inherited disease that affects red blood cells, causing them to change shape and structure, and die early. This shortage of red blood cells, which carry oxygen around the body, can cause a lot of pain and a host of health problems.
